Hi, I’m Caroline!

I am a Non-Diet Dietitian who believes all foods fit prioritizing a balanced lifestyle. But I didn't start off like this… 

I grew up a competitive synchronized swimmer, which meant increased physical pressure. I was praised when I would lose weight and created a belief that I would be accepted more in a smaller body. Despite winning 2 national championships and swimming for The Ohio State University, I struggled with my health. I spent years dieting, counting calories and obsessing over the number on the scale. I was trapped in the wellness culture era wanting to be in a smaller body. This drove me to engage in unhealthy behaviors surrounding food. This only led me feeling more addicted and out of control around food. I suffered quietly through my own disordered eating and intense food rules which eventually led me to have an eating disorder.  I was feeling frustrated, stuck and overwhelmed when it came to my nutrition. 

Overcoming years of dieting made me realize that there was more to life than obsessing over food. This motivated me to become a Registered Dietitian so I could coach wellness warriors on how to truly optimize their nutrition. As a weight-inclusive coach, I focus on empowering my clients to heal their relationship with food and their bodies. I reject the notion that weight determines worth or health. Instead, I work with you to build healthful and sustainable habits that honor your unique needs and preferences.

I am here to provide evidence-based guidance and personalized nutrition strategies to support you on your journey. Together, we will address underlying beliefs, and develop a positive mindset around food. Health and wellness have always been a major influence on my life. First, I started karate when I was five years old and represented New Zealand all over the world including the youngest black belt at 10 years of age and a junior world championship at 17. I wanted to be the best and researched methods that would allow me to reach my full potential. Secondly, watching those close to me struggle with their health influenced me to take my own wellness seriously. This inspired me to become a fitness coach so I could help, not only myself but those around me, who struggled with their health perform at their best both physically and mentally.

Now, having worked in the health & fitness industry for 15+ years I have accumulated countless success stories that have helped individuals from various backgrounds all over the world. With my extensive knowledge and hands-on experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the human body, and effective training methodologies that will help you unlock your best self.

My coaching style is motivating, adaptable and empowering. Whether you're aiming to build strength, improve cardiovascular endurance, enhance flexibility, or achieve a specific fitness goal, I will help you reach limits that you originally thought were impossible.
